LDC is now providing Natural Gas in the following communities:
- Grand Lake Estates
- Montgomery Trace (Section 5 - 10)
- Elk Trace Golf Estates
- Hills of Montgomery
- City of Montgomery and Surrounding Area
Service Orders
Service orders can be called into the office during regular
business hours. Builders/Homeowners are encouraged to schedule
service orders two to three weeks in advance.
An application is required for processing. Applications are
accessible on our website. In addition, the tap and meter fee
of $1085.00 (+ tax) is required to be paid in full prior to
service order being scheduled.
Natural Gas Service Line
LDC is available to install the service lines approximately 24"
deep with two anodeless risers and tracer wire from the street
to the house for a price per foot of $5.20 plus risers. LDC can also lay the
gas line and water line (in the same ditch) for $7.80 per foot.
**Such pricing includes all testing and materials.
**Tax for materials is not included in the price per foot.
Meter Location
Generally, the meter is located at the street on every other lot
line. In most cases, the meter is installed near other utilities,
such as electric, telephone and cable.
**Within the city limits of Montgomery, meters are located at the
house on every other lot line.
We strongly suggest builders and homeowners contact us to coordinate
gas connection to your home. Planning in advance can save you time
and money.
